Transparency builds trust — every correction documented in public, with its date
Our public corrections policy
Mistakes happen in any newsroom; what matters is how they are handled. At SUDAN TRUTH:
- No silent deletion or editing: any error in a published item is corrected in public, with a clear note of the correction inside the item itself.
- Documented in this log: every correction is recorded here with its date and what changed, following Reuters standards and the Trust Project indicators.
- Speed after verification: names, figures and facts are corrected as soon as an error is established from a documented source — accuracy before everything.
- Right of reply: anyone named in an item who considers its presentation unfair may send a reply for publication under our editorial policy.
How to send a correction or a suggestion
We read everything readers send us — a correction, a topic suggestion or a note on our coverage:
- By email to the editorial team: corrections@sudan-truth.com — include the item's URL and a description of the error or suggestion.
- Via messages to the SUDAN TRUTH Facebook Page.
- Or through the report-an-error form.
