Copyright & usage
SUDAN TRUTH content is protected — fair quotation is welcome on these terms
Ownership
All material published on SUDAN TRUTH — text, photographs, posters, video and design — belongs to the newspaper or to its writers and photographers under their publishing agreements, and is protected by copyright and intellectual-property law. The name “SUDAN TRUTH” and the “ST” badge are the newspaper's own marks and may not be used in any way that implies affiliation or endorsement.
Fair quotation
- Short excerpts of our material may be quoted for news, commentary and research purposes, provided the text is expressly credited to “SUDAN TRUTH”.
- Any excerpt republished online must carry a direct link to the original item on our website.
- Photographs, posters and infographics may not be quoted separately from their items without written permission.
Republication
Republishing any item in full — text, image or video — on any website, platform or print outlet is prohibited without prior written permission from the newspaper's management. Republication licences are requested via our contact page.
Third-party material
Material carried from news agencies and official bodies remains the property of its owners and is credited to them in each item's source box; permission to republish it must be sought from the original owners, not from us.
Removal and objection requests
If you believe a published item infringes a right of yours — a copyright or a personal right — write to the editorial team's official email: corrections@sudan-truth.com, stating the item's URL, the nature of the claimed right and evidence of your standing. We review documented requests and act by amendment or removal where an infringement is established, and we record any resulting change to news items in our corrections log.
